Who is responsible for correct labelling?

The firm which performs the final processing operation on the textile material is responsible. Generally, this will be the garment maker as he alone has all the information about the component parts which have been processed. The labelling of the whole article is determined by the weakest components (e.g. applications, glitter, embroidery etc). The maximum treatment which an article may undergo without suffering irreversible damage is identified.
