Leonardo da Vinci - The Lifelong Learning Program
The e-learning project (with the aim of increasing awareness of care labelling) which was launched under the leadership of the Czech Republic and which also involves Belgium, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, as part of the Leonardo da Vinci European funding programme, is producing tangible results. These are based largely on Swiss proposals and contributions (content and design). The goal of the project is to improve knowledge of care labelling across a broad front by means of a range of coordinated pan-European communication measures. These include information brochures (care sheets), leaflets (table of symbols), training (presentations for seminars/teaching aids), CDs and websites. In addition, there will be documents aimed specifically at manufacturers, retailers, schools and teachers. The cooperative partnership will ultimately result in standardised information material being available in all EU languages. The project was completed by July 2011.
The Leonardo da Vinci documents (brochure, magnet/sticker, table of symbols, presentation) are available on the extranet.
