Brazil - New GINETEX member

Brazil has become the 16th member of GINETEX. For the first time a South American country has acquired the right, to use the registered care labelling symbols.

On the basis of the agreement with GINETEX, national organisations are authorised to grant a contractual right to domestic companies to use the symbols or in general to authorise their affiliated member companies to use the care labelling pictograms. The national organisations are responsible for care labelling on their own territory.

The International Association for Textile Care Labelling also includes the country organisations from: Belgium / Luxembourg, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovenia, Liechtenstein, Spain, the Czech Republic and Tunisia.
