Bleaching
The triangle is the general symbol for bleaching. Up to now the indication “Do not bleach” was symbolised by a black triangle with a black filling and the St. Andrews Cross superimposed on the symbol. In future, as it used to be the case some time ago, this symbol will be represented by the crossed-out triangle without the black filling.
The decision taken by GINETEX must be seen in the context of the review of the global care labelling standard ISO EN SN 3758:2005.
The industry and textile trade are allowed a transitional period of 2 years expiring at the end of April 2010 to make the change.
